Stuffed peppers.
(Me from a decade ago is wondering what the **** is wrong with me, to be voluntarily eating bell peppers?!)
(Me right now asserts that these are actually ridiculously delicious, and yes I’m questioning my sanity too.)
Our koi pond.
The little monsters are getting huge!
We’re mostly just amazed they’ve survived this long.
Friendship rose.
Current dinner: green curry with sweet potatoes and green beans, miso salmon, and brown rice.
Made a ginormous batch of all three last weekend, and we’ve eaten it every night since (and haven’t gotten sick of it yet!)

Sleeping for 11 hours straight, then laying in bed listening to the rain.
The quiet before classes begin.
Dinner with a good friend that I see far too infrequently.
Working on logic puzzles while listening to Son have an existential crisis about his code (and trying not to laugh too hard at him).

Pie-making.
Thai food.
A couple favorites that we get every time.
And a new-to-us dish – a delicious Thai version of the Vietnamese hu tieu that we adore.
This was really good.
Freezing my shoulder off at physical therapy.
Bought a screen for our bathroom window. Screen turned out to be just barely too large. After much screen manipulation and jamming, somehow managed to actually get the screen in without breaking it!
No, we do not live in a forest, it just looks that way.

Eating waffles and talking tech with fellow nerdgals at a Girl Develop It meetup.
An awesome start to the week.
… and then I went home and reheated waffles from our freezer, then topped them with fried eggs and bacon. Because Son wanted waffles too. 😅
Got The Pho Cookbook last week, so this week it’s time to make some pho!
Went for a walk on Valentine’s Day. Tried to take a photo of some pretty flowers. Instead got Son photobombing my photo. 😏
… got the photo of the flowers anyways.
Our aloe plant has gotten to be quite plump!

Sprouted palm tree seeds look like little pink bugs.
Itty bitty garden at the base of the palms.
Deceptively calm rain on leaves.
Meanwhile, I nearly got blown away (and definitely got soaked) on my walk home.
Current dinner: spinach + chickpeas + eggs, and then add radish kimchi. Super easy, oh so healthy, and really really tasty.
